New people move to the City of Boston everyday. Moving to a new City can be overwhelming. We want to change that by offering new residents a chance to meet with a representative from Mayor Walsh's City Hall to Go staff, one on one, in their new neighborhood.
This meeting is an opportunity for a new resident to learn about the many services in Boston that might affect them. It would also be a chance to ask questions about anything from park use to parking.
As City Hall to Go already processes parking permits, provides trash and recycling stickers, assists in signing up for city apps (BOS311/PARK BOSTON), and much more, new residents can leave their meeting with all of their City business taken care of, and a better understanding of this new place they are calling home. In addition, we will introduce residents to cultural resources, state and federal resources, as well as important information regarding their new neighborhood.
